Follow this sequence to install Clover VDI, secure the initial administrator account and connect the platform to Proxmox or Kubernetes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Check the prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Use a Windows host with Docker Desktop<\/strong> or an Ubuntu host with Docker Engine<\/strong>. Confirm that Docker is running, that port 8080 is available and that the host can download container images. Review the complete Clover VDI prerequisites<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Install Clover VDI Free<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Open a terminal on Ubuntu or PowerShell on Windows.<\/li>
  2. Run the following command published on the official Clover VDI download page<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>
  3. Wait until Docker downloads the image and starts the Clover container.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    docker run -d -p 8080:8080 -v clover_data:\/var\/lib\/mysql --name clover_app --read-only --tmpfs \/tmp:rw,exec,nosuid,size=256m --tmpfs \/var\/tmp:rw,exec,nosuid,size=256m --tmpfs \/run:rw,nosuid,size=64m --tmpfs \/dev\/shm:rw,nosuid,size=256m --security-opt=no-new-privileges:true clover-secure:latest<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
    Installation note:<\/strong> the command publishes Clover on port 8080<\/strong> and stores its database in the persistent Docker volume clover_data<\/code>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
    3. Open Clover<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    From a browser on the Docker host, open http:\/\/localhost:8080<\/code>. From another computer, open http:\/\/:8080<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    4. Sign in with the initial administrator account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    Username<\/th>admin_clover@workspace.com<\/code><\/td><\/tr>
    Initial password<\/th>AdminClover!<\/code><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
    Security requirement:<\/strong> change the default password immediately after the first successful sign-in. Never keep the initial password on an internet-accessible or production deployment.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
    5. Configure the infrastructure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    Clover needs a configured workload platform before it can create labs. Configure Proxmox<\/strong> for virtual machines or Kubernetes<\/strong> for containers, then verify that Clover reports the provider as ready. Follow Configure Your Infrastructure<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    6. Review the licence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    Clover VDI Free includes a limited number of users. If the deployment requires additional users, purchase a licence and follow Activate Your Clover License<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    7. Continue the configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
